Hi, since taking part at the Homes and Gardens show with Liz Newport of Buzy Lizzie at Rheged at the weekend and listening to peoples opinions I have been thinking !!! Most people really liked the exhibitors who were there - their comment being that there werent enough of them. Many visitors were in the process of going through planning applications, whilst others were looking to build in the near future and were looking for inspiration. Some folks were looking for ideas to brighten up their homes or garden or just to refurbish. In 2008 we held a homes show at Rheged and had over 60 exhibitors and a huge number of visitors- maybe the time is right to do that again. I wonder if you could help me with information so that I could approach Rheged to perhaps do something next year. It is a great venue. In the meantime I wonder if you would be kind enough to let me know ; a) if it is something you would visit b) if you would potentially exhibit c) your preferred day(s) d) what you think would be the best time of year. I would be really grateful if you could pass this on to anyone you think may be interested and look forward to your comments. Maureen
