Hi there.. Hello! Hey, over here! How rude of me, let me introduce myself - Oh it’s okay, I ain’t nothin’ to fear! Hello again, I’m the Little Corner Bookshelf. I know, maybe not as exciting as a library, I don’t have much to say on science or history, I might be able to muster up some mystery, Or if you‘re the serious kind, perhaps some philosophy? I have no encyclopaedias, or almanacs I am no fan of worthless strings of gossips, I don’t smell of old wood and sterile paper, And I certainly don’t provide a cosy romantic corner. Besides, I’m not the kind that’s easily accessible, Heck, I try my best not to even be visible! I’m the quiet little repository, of a few untold stories, Ones you’ve probably read as part of your reading frenzies. My stories usually just lay here with me undisturbed, As people bustle around us, we just sit here unnoticed, Once in a while, something would catch somebody’s eyes, Even that, would end up in some frantic flipping of the pages. So anyways, what story would you like to hear today? Are you a fan of the magical Harry, Ron and Hermione Granger? On a different note, you walk past me every single day, Yet, why do you stare at me everytime like i’m a total stranger? Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m perfectly fine by myself, And I mean no disrespect, I get that you are busy with yourself, I just hope you don’t have to ever step into my shoes And experience my deafening silence and other assorted woes.
