Hi there. I was thinking about science and God. Saying that - TopicsExpress

Hi there. I was thinking about science and God. Saying that there is no god is claiming that we know everything, which is wrong! We dont even know if the space is finite or infinite. Were not sure whether parallel dimensions exist, we dont know what black matter is made of; we dont know all the existing bacteria, including the ones in our own guts; all the time were discovering new living species we had no idea they exist; we found out classical physics are actually approximations that are only valid at a certain scale (large enough for us to not notice that for hundreds of years) and we corrected it with quantum physics, and physics is still evolving...etc. I cant list all, there are too many things. a thousand years ago we used to think earth is flat, we were pretty sure about it, and we couldnt have an idea about the existence of something like viruses. What are we going to discover in a thousand more? Maybe the edge of our current knowledge will seem as basic and simple as trigonometry today. Ok, we cant prove that god exists, at least not using the atheist logic. But can we prove he doesnt, by any logic, when there is so much unknown data? As there is no way to know, then its a matter of choice. no one can blame the other or say him stupid for what he chose to believe, because he cant prove that this other is wrong. One may say god doesnt exist because there is so much injustice in the world, but try to explain to your cat why you sting him with a needle when you give him a vaccine.
