Hi there! Ima 25 year old, queer/cis-male vegan moving from a sublet in the Mission. I moved here at the beginning of July from PDX. Im looking to find a new, more permanent home! I moved down to the Bay Area for a job with a non-profit, with the convenient extra of living a bit closer to my boyfriend, and to begin researching grad school options. I am pretty dedicated to queer, radical activism and intend to volunteer once Im settled into a place (I will be spending a week in PDX during late August at camp for youth living with HIV, for example). I would love to live with roommates with similarly intentional and compassionate lifestyles, but interpersonal chemistry is really whats most important in my home. I am a friendly, social person, who likes to get out of the apartment and explore as much as I can. At home, I am pretty friendly and outgoing, and would love to have some kind of friendship with my roommate(s), but generally spend a lot of time quietly recharging in my room when Im home. I am fairly good at cooking and baking, and like to experiment with flavor (house dinner, anyone?). I am pretty clean, and have an interest in learning to garden and pickle. Overall, I am pretty laid back guy. My ideal is to find an apartment in the city proper, as I work downtown and I have a bf in lower Haight. I mainly get around by walking, public transit, and my bike. Looking to move by mid-August, with a little flexibility if you need someone sooner.
