Hi there! My name is Sandy.I have been waiting for a new home for about 3 months now. Would you mind sharing my story to help me reach my new family? I am an 8 year old Labrador Retriever mix in need of a loving home. I was brought to SPCA Tampa Bay when my last family was no longer able to care for me. My hip was causing me a lot of pain so I was given a special surgery called a Femoral Head Osteotomy to help me feel better. Some of the tissue in my hip joint was removed and I have been working really hard to strengthen my new joint including trips up and down the stairs 3 times a day.
