Hi to all my brothers & sisters, I just wanted you all to know how - TopicsExpress

Hi to all my brothers & sisters, I just wanted you all to know how wonderful it was to see all of you again last week in Branson MO. It does our hearts a word of good to see you all there talking of things of the past, I just wish I could remember more of what we did and saw when we were together in that far off land called Vietnam. Its just as heart-warming to see you all also talk about family and friends from the time you came back from Vietnam, because thats what really matters, family and friends, thats why we are called brothers and sisters because we are family and in a way we have a(special) bond from being involved in a war that took us so far away from our own family and friends and our country. The bond I feel is so special to me and in a way I feel sorry for the ones left behind that they will never have that feeling that we have among our brothers, their family and friends because they are now our family and friends. It was great to see new brother and sisters there and hope we all make a special effort to be together next years and also I myself and hope all of you will make a special effort to try and get in touch with one if not more of our brothers from our D company or another company from the 65th. Remember God called Shep and Jim this year and it was sad they both wasnt there(but) It was my honor to have served with them and my memories of being and talking to them at the reunions will alway be in my heart. We also have to keep brothers Mike Yunker, Howard Hughes,Jim Davis and now Bob Filbert and all their families in our prayers and we hope to see them all next year at our reunion. Stay well my brothers & sisters!. First-In Last-Out. Welcome Home. Brother Artie & Helen
