Hi trumpet friends. Looking ahead to next year: you NEED to think about attending the 2015 GVSU International Trumpet Seminar. It is, year after year, a phenomenal experience for all involved; students, faculty and guest artists alike all come away uplifted and motivated to deepen their skills and musicianship. I dont know if Ill be there next year, but it doesnt matter: Prof. Richard Stoelzel, one of the most successful trumpet pedagogues in U.S. history, has a winning formula and always assembles a fantastic crew! Students this year ranged from very green high school kids all the way to the young-but-very-seasoned pro phenom Phillip Chase Hawkins - the only thing everyone had in common was superb dedication. Please share this freely with trumpet friends....I have no financial stake here; rather, I post this only out of love for this Seminar and for the international fellowship of the trumpet - please help spread the word for all of our sakes!
