Hi, we recently brought an old 89 Citroen motor home. We had her serviced by mechanics for the motor, oil, tyres etc and a new battery. They said shes all good to go but we cant get up hills and I literally mean a small slope and we go from happily going along to loosing speed and dropping to 10mph and people honking at us. We used to have a caravan so I know the impact of excessive weight and although I could leave a few none essentials at home I dont feel we could make her much lighter. Any advice on weight or best ways to pack or even driving a diesal would be greatly appreciated as we are going home tom and Im dreading it. Thanks
