High pressure will track to the east today and keep us under - TopicsExpress

High pressure will track to the east today and keep us under mainly sunny skies, but there is a small area of clouds and flurries tracking westward from Lake Michigan. This should dry up as it hits Iowa, but if it hold together long enough, it will ruin my forecast! It will keep temperatures from climbing as much as I expect them to. Right now, I will order the clouds to die out soon and believe they will obey. That will mean highs in the low to mid teens today with mostly sunny skies and light winds in the viewing area. A weak disturbance will track through tonight bringing a few flurries tonight and tomorrow, but we shouldnt see much more than burst of snow at the worst. We will start to warm up... highs tomorrow will be in the low to mid 20s and we will be in the low 30s by Friday and the mid 30s for Saturday. We bounce between the upper 20s and mid 30s for a few days after that, but we should stay mild into the beginning of next week. And mainly dry, too. No big storms showing up in the models, although one or two are trying to bring in something for Monday. I will leave it dry for now. #66daysuntilspring
