Higher education/knowledge without God is no higher education/knowledge at all! Wonder why Hosea 4:6 assert that “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom! (Prov. 9:10; Ps. 111:10). The Scriptures tell us that God has placed all the stars in the sky and knows each star by name! Isaiah 40:26,Psalm 147:4 So what kind of knowledge was Prophet Hosea referring to? • Hosea 4 : 6b … Because you have ignored the law of your God. • People are destroyed for lack of God’s knowledge • .i. e Knowledge of God and His Word. • No wonder Jesus told His challengers, the Sadducees, “ You err because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God.” ( Mark 12:24) • Only the knowledge of God and His word provides humans with the light of life. Psalm 119:105, John 8:12. • No individual or people can afford to ignore God’s word without grave consequences. My prayer: Father in the name of Jesus! You are the God of wonders I trust you with the details of my life. Like your son help me to be absorbed with your business as I share with others the glorious message of salvation. All for the glory of our Savior and our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Only in the Word of God can one find the roadmap/instructions for a successful life! The exceptions to Proverbs basic instructions are grounded in Job. Love yall!
