Highest number of Complaint cases filed against Sri Jagadanand, State Information Commissioner in the office of Governor, Odisha (From 2006 to April , 2013) Dear friends An RTI Application was submitted to the PIO, office of Governor, Odisha seeking information about number of Complaints filed against all Odisha Information Commissioners before Governor, Odisha under section 17 of the RTI Act and action taken by His Excellency against the Information Commissioners. The information provided by the PIO on dated 7.6.13 is as Attached. It was found that in some cases, the Secretary, office of Odisha Information Commission and Department of I and PR, Govt. of Odisha have produced the report denouncing the allegation as malafide and vague. However, it was found from the file noting that Mr. S.C. Jamir, new Governor of Odisha has called the Information Commission for discussion on the issues raised by Odisha Soochana Adhikar Abhijan in its memorandum submitted to His Excellency on 26.3.13.
