Hilarious we have had this silent soft closing toilet seat for a month. Larry installed this. He is now realizing that he s been forcing it closed instead of preventing it from slamming down in the middle of the night. I purchased it for safety. To prevent small boys from having the lid slam down on them. Thoughtful of me I know. I had to hold myself up to keep from falling down laughing when he told me this. Bed Bath and Beyond.
