Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. (Matthew 8:26) Even tho the disciples just had witnessed demons being cast out, Peters mother-in-law healed, and the Centurions servant they still had unwavering or immature faith (little faith.) they were looking at the circa ranches around them instead of the power with in them. Jesus said faith as a mustard seed. So they had couldve rebuked the wind but instead they wanted Jesus to do it for them. We, like the disciples, want God just to do everything for us when all we need to do is just look at the power within us. If you are lacking faith the bible says faith comes by hearing the word of God, so start reading the word if God aloud to yourself and speaking it yourself. Faith without putting actions to it means nothing either. So when you read something in the bible that Jesus instructs us to do (like heal the sick) step out and take action because the power resides in you. When you start doing these things your faith WILL arise!!! So go, speak, do!!!
