His Power 2 Following my message of yesterday, I had a discussion with a brother talking about the move of the Holy Spirit. He recalled all the instances he had experienced the move/presence of the Holy Spirit in programs and even in his closet. Thats fine! He told me of a case whereby the pastor couldnt even preach because the Spirit of God was so heavily present to the point that everybody was just falling under the anointing while the choir was ministering. Wow! I love that too. Like I said yesterday the presence of the Holy Spirit is not JUST to come and make people fall and roll on the floor. What happens in your life after the falling and rolling on the floor? There was a time in my life when I took note of this; I always check out for change in my life after the falling and rolling on the floor experience. His presence releases power. Power to convicts sinners to repent, to set the captives free, power to become a vessel to do mighty works for God vis-a-vis fulfilling purpose, power to live a new and a holy life, He changes your inner person totally and break you down to perfection. Ministers, please dont break peoples neck because you want to lay hands on them! Some ministers will lay hands on people and be dragging them to a fall. Jesus! Why the need for this? Some will blow noise into your ear drums and hardly will you hear a voice minutes later. Hmmm you dont need this at all. Lay hands with a gentle touch and leave the Holy Spirit to do His work. Are you a minister? Ever wondered and sad that people have never fallen down after your touch? Please ignore it. The power of the Holy Spirit goes beyond just falling down. I was in a program and the pastor asked me to do impartation for his congregation I became shocked and I was anxious to see how the anointing will flow to the point that people will fall down. Laughs Immediately the Holy Spirit told me ,,,Not by falling down so I freed my mind and the most important results followed. My mum also told us of a church program she was invited to years back. The pastor was laying hands on people followed by falling but she didnt fall when it was her turn. Laughs. She said this pastor didnt let her go; he kept pressing her forehead until he gave up on her later. The Holy Spirit present Himself to change lives. Admittedly people can fall down under the influence of Gods power but the manifestation of the Holy Spirit goes beyond that. Holy Spirit is the power! Power to excel! When the Holy Spirit is absent in a life or ministry what one has is a powerless life and a public embarrassment in ministry. I pitied my brothers: the disciples of Jesus, I imagine how embarrassed they would feel when a certain man complained to Jesus about his lunatick son. He said ...And I brought him to YOUR DISCIPLES and THEY COULD NOT CUREhim Matthew 17:14-20. No matter how bad they felt, these are the set of people who turned out to be mighty vessels; they went about saving souls, healing the sick, raising the dead, wrought great miracles and even a shadow of one of them and apron did miracles. All these happened AFTER the Holy Spirit came on them (baptism of the Holy Spirit via speaking in tongues) What is happening now? #change your orientation about the manifestation of the Holy Spirit# He is power! To do mighty and great works. Be thirsty for His presence and manifestation will follow.
