(Ephesians 3:10-13 NIV) What does it mean to have Manifold wisdom? Manifold sounds like a an auto you would find at Auto-Zone right? But the word Manifold simply means this: 1 a : marked by diversity or variety . God literally has a diversity and variety of divine wisdom. This is interesting, because though Solomon was known as the wisest man who ever lived he still could not match nor compare to the manifold wisdom of God. You see just when we think we have God all figured out, he always throws us a curve or a slider when we knew he was about to unleash his famous fast ball. God has Manifold wisdom. Gods wisdom fits any and every situation in our lives. It never grows old or outdated. God can speak a parable and it will stand true until heaven and earth disappear. You can always trust and depend on Gods wisdom. Not only is Gods wisdom diverse, but we also serve a diverse God. Isnt it interesting that God would put all races, colors, creed, religions, and ideals all on the same planet. I mean one speaks German, the other English while still another Chinese, and Spanish. Our God is diverse and he thinks diversely. How dare we limit our God to one particular religion, or ethnic group when through his divine wisdom, he created everyone of us with particular gifts as he felt the need to do so. How dare we claim that Gods love is exclusive and that he only loves a certain type or a particular religion. Our God is diverse and has Manifold wisdom. Gods wisdom will fit your situation today, and he has purposefully created you, his church, to represent his grace and love for all of mankind. For you were created by God in Christ Jesus to do good work which God prepared in advance for you to do! Be blessed and encouraged. God understands you better than you know....
