History & Audi Heritage Restored :-) We love a happy ending here at Halesowen Audi, here is Mrs Webb, who was worried that we wouldn’t be able to fix her pride and joy… Mrs Webb’s vehicle came in to our Service Department recovered on a tow truck due to fluid leaking from underneath her vehicle. After investigation from our Technicians, they identified that the leak was coming from a power steering pipe that had split and was leaking. Our Parts team checked the availability of the pipe required to fix this but unfortunately the part was no longer and had been discontinued – the car is 23 years old. Andre Crosby was Mrs Webb’s Service Advisor and explained this and she was devastated as she absolutely loves her car. Andre took it upon himself to try to help fix this problem for the customer as the car was in immaculate condition and only covered 36,000 miles on the clock so far too good to go to a scrap yard. Andre searched the internet and made many phone calls to Audi specialists to try to locate the part required to fix her vehicle, he managed to find a company in Digbeth that could specially make the pipe required. Andre kept Mrs Webb updated with this and she was incredibly happy that Andre had managed to help and could not thank him enough! Mrs Webb was reunited with her vehicle yesterday, which we delivered to her home address, she was so happy to have the car returned and said that she was absolutely overwhelmed by the fantastic service that meant her vehicle didn’t have to go to a scrap yard, she explained that Andre had been wonderful and delivered exceptional customer service! Well done Andre and happy motoring Mrs Webb :-)
