History of Music Pt-29 89 By the end of the 80s Metal bands were either playing as fast and hard as they could,Metallica,Anthrax,Etc) Or were writing as many Power Ballads as they could(Cinderella, Motley Crue,Poison,Etc) But one particular band was a HUGE breath of fresh air! Kings X had rocking songs with strong vocal melodies/harmonies, Ty Tabor seemed to care more about melody and tone than playing as many notes as possible. And i always liked the way Dug Pinnick filled out the rest with a 12-string bass! And i hope that Jerry Gaskill has a quick recovery from his health problems!! They are still on my bucket list of bands that i want to see!!
