Hit By a Car, he only needed to have his leg amputated to save his life. After Chance was hit by a car here in Weld County, his owner wanted to have him euthanized rather than simply amputate his leg and save his life. That is when Dr. Goettsch at the Ault Veterinary Clinic stepped up and asked Denkai to take Chance in if he were to do the life-saving surgery. So we did. After all, Chance has a lot of life left to live. His recovery and learning how to become mobile on three legs has been a bit of a challenge for him, but this fun loving Canine Companion is sure happy to be alive! If you would like to give Chance a home, please contact us at 970-775-3450 or [email protected] to submit an application. More about Chance: Chance has adjusted well at our house. He gets along fine with other dogs, but does get a little mouthy when all 3 come at him to play. He loves the kids and is great with everyone he meets. Chance is not too sure about bikes or scooters. Hell start barking as soon as he sees them. Chance is still learning that he does not have the extra limb and has an occasional fall.
