♬ Hit me - Dirty Loops 올해 처음 음반을 내고 데뷔한 스웨덴의 3인조 남성밴드예요. (사실 결성은 그 전에 했지만 내공을 쌓은 팀이죠) 그럼에도 불구하고 이들은 모두 영어로 노래를 해서 전혀 스웨덴 사람같지 않아요. 일본에서 첫 앨범을 냈는데 발매하자마자 싱글차트 1위를 한 (흔치 않은)서양밴드구요, 미국의 퀸시존스(Quincy Jones)와 스티비원더(Stevie Wonder)가 극찬에 극찬을 했습니다. 보컬의 목소리가 마이클 잭슨이나 스티비 원더처럼 가늘게 고음이지만 그 신끼와 흥겨운 펑키함에 자연스러운 그루브가 느껴져서 이들이 하는 음악은 어쩌면 장르없이 팝, 재즈, 소울, 퓨전과 얼터너티브로 오가며 다른 가수들의 곡들도 그들만의 방식으로 커버할 줄 아는 능력자들만의 음악이 아닐까 싶군요. 이들의 현란한 드럼과 베이스와 건반을 듣다보면 어떻게 이런 식으로 편곡을 하지? 라는 생각이 들 정도로 그냥 멍~ 때리고 듣게 만드는 밴드네요. 무엇보다 6현 베이스를 장난감처럼 다루는 실력에 넋을 놓아 버렸어요. 이들은 스웨덴의 대선배 아바(ABBA)보다 훨씬 더 무섭게 진화하고 있어서 속칭 괴물이라는 애칭을 갖고 있답니다. 이번 11월 30일에 홍대에서 소규모 내한공연이 있습니다. ............
