Hit the jackpot today - saw that someone had cut down a tree and stacked the wood for the trash men. It looked dark, so I stopped to check it out. I thought it might be pecan, but the color was wrong. Got 2 pickup loads, had friend help me load the bigger logs. Cut it up into blanks, and then started checking what wood it might be. Dark, very heavy. I looks like it is rosewood!!! YES - I can use it. I almost bought some the other day for way to much $$$. Am I ever glad I didnt. It was like the Lord was telling me to wait a few days, and He will supply! Thank You Jesus.
