Hiya guys, Firstly - thank you to all who came to orchestra yesterday - its sounding really good now, and with a bit more work we can give a performance we can all be incredibly proud of! Heres a link to a recording of Hungarian Dance 7 - please give it a listen - it shows how most of the tempo changes work, and I realise theres still some confusion there... https://youtube/watch?v=PzY3-dMcPoY Im also linking the other two Ive arranged so you can have a listen if you have time - try to listen out for your parts in each and note how theyre played (particularly dynamics/phrasing) - all of your parts have been uploaded to the dropbox for you to look at: https://dropbox/sh/a158fk67filkxsi/AACzGEWD19zGqaYFw0T50BKLa?dl=0 Faure: https://youtube/watch?v=mpgyTl8yqbw HD1: https://youtube/watch?v=ZFW5vBTB34M You all know sleighride, so Im not going to post that! :P Sorry for the long post - one final note though. I know the pieces Ive chosen have (generally) been a challenge, and seemed daunting at times. I also realise my ability to motivate may have been less than top notch. However, I chose each of these pieces for two reasons: - I love them, and wanted to share that with you, - I genuinely believe each of you is able to play the part I put in front of you! (but I wanted to challenge you) So, lets kick on and give a really good performance in a couple of weeks! Ben (Oh, and dont forget to comment on Tamsins post about the programme, otherwise you wont get your name in it!)
