Hlaudi Motsoeneng, controversial operations chief of the SABC, - TopicsExpress

Hlaudi Motsoeneng, controversial operations chief of the SABC, only indicated five matric subjects on his job application at the public broadcaster – and gave himself weak symbols for each. Motsoeneng applied at the SABC in Bloemfontein in 1995. He wrote on the application form that he had matriculated at the Metsimantsho High School and that his subjects were English, Sesotho, Afrikaans, history and “Bibs” – possibly a reference to Bible Studies. He gave himself an “E” for every subject, except history, for which he claimed to have got an “F”. A comment on the application form reads: “Ask Hlaudi for his matric [certificate].” A human resources manager at the SABC in 1996 told Motsoeneng that the fact that he did not have a matric certificate would be a serious hindrance to progress in the SABC.citypress.co.za/news/hlaudi-motsoeneng-lied-sabc-application-4-es-f-matric/
