Hmm interesting. TvMike is now blocked from Live Stream News group now, or should I say again. Its obvious why, because I make a powerful and logical voice AGAINST LIVE STREAMERS doing PPVs. As a matter of fact I dont even know why this is accepted language in billiards streaming. Did we not start producing live streams because we want to promote the game and give people our passion? Who is watching these PPVs anyway? It obvious that people that are doing PPVs only care about one thing. The business model to do a PPV is COMPLETELY logically BACKWARDS. Why are you limiting your viewers automatically? Good luck getting sponsors when you kill your viewership numbers in a massacre fashion.Good luck promoting the game to new viewers. Good luck maintaining a loyal viewer base while you expect people to pay money to watch live streams. There are so many holes in this supposed business model and there is a reason why it never worked even at the highest level. For one thing technically speaking most of you dont even know what you are doing truthfully, using the worst providers in the business for starters. Im not even going to get into specifics because the model to begin with is a bunch of horseshit. I promise you as soon as you start doing PPV you will isolate your viewerbase and they will resent you for it. If you cant figure out a way to make money producing live streams without doing PPVs then get out of the game. I will sleep in a cardboard box before I start doing PPVs on streams. If you are in the billiards industry and you think a PPV model is an acceptable model that will grow billiards I just might have a bruce lee video for your face. I have produced 120 shows many are multiple days since last November I have had over 32,000 unique viewers in that time period proven by google analytics. If anyone deserves sponsors and monthly 7.99 members on my platform I cant present a better argument than my work record. I have kept track of all my legitimate numbers and a diary of all my shows and make this information available to prospects on live streams and sponsors on a regular basis. Yeah I know I should be quiet and mind my own business. This is a reality show and the reality is PPVs are somehow creeping into our scene as being an acceptable business model and for the reasons above they are not. The strong will survive this weak PPV model WILL NOT and it will bring down our billiards industry. Discuss or hate on me I dont mind.
