Hmmm... Just opened my mail and received another award ceremony invitation letter from my college for being on the deans list for the 3rd time. As humbly as I can say this, this is always a trip to me, because I never expect these things. I barely focus in class, and Id be a liar if I said I studied. I just scheme through the books, and do the work. The professors usually sound like chipmunks to me, so my mind zones in and out. As taboo as it is to say this, I have to be sincere, I hate college. However, it has its benefits, but I will never see it as being a huge contributor to me becoming a major success in life. 80% of the things I learn there, I never use in real life. The educations that are most beneficial to my journey to success, are: k-12 education, the education that I get from teachers of real life issues or skills, self-education, character building exercises that I do on myself, observing those around me, reading books that are filled with substance for real-life, and trial & error. Im only going to school, because Ive wasted too much time there not to complete these degrees. I will have 3 when its all over, just to put on the shelf. You get a degree to work for someone else, and thats not what I foresee for my life.
