Hmmm…. Lemon for animals? You bet! Lemon is widely used in all species. It has a VERY wide safety margin making it excellent oil for our animals (according to the ADR). Lemon is anticancer, antidepressant, antiseptic, antifungal, antioxidant, antitumoral, antiviral, astringent, invigorating and refreshing. Used often as an anti-tumoral in animals and also for an immune stimulant. It can increase white blood cells, reduce fatty tumors, is a gentle cleansing and detoxifying oil, and reduces disease transmission. This is definitely an oil that isn’t used often, but can be very effective for the health of our pets! Lemon can be used topically, via inhalation, diffused, and taken orally. Please consult a reference guide for oral administration.
