Hmmm....So, after a week of what seemed to be an increased level of affection from Pepperpot, shes now begun acting standoffish, only bothering to interact with me at all when shes either trying to con me into giving her more food or demanding that I open the window for her (apparently it isnt enough for her to just _see_ the bird on the fence, she has to be able to _smell_ it...or something). Is this just a normal thing with cats, this on/off/on/off business? She doesnt seem to be sick in any sense that I can actually tell, but she also seems to be sleeping more than she was a few weeks ago: Its currently 10 PM here and shes sprawled out on the futon in the living room, which is markedly different from the suns down, time to get hyper! behaviour Ive come to expect from her.
