Artist in Residence Ellen Forney Comics Workshop townhallseattle.org Town Hall Seattle, 7:30pm This dynamic, interactive workshop explor[es] the analogous skills and concepts between comics and theaters. Forney and Cornish theater professor Kathleen Collins will lead you in exercises that will improve your comics. Forney, as youd expect from a Stranger Genius, is exactly right about the link between comics and theater. Most of the great comics artists Ive met have had an actors eye for body language, at the very least.
