First and for most, HOW BOUT THEM BUCKEYES?! Ill tell you what, I was the MOST exhausted teacher in all of Duval County today, however, Im pretty positive, I was the happiest! The fertility process is progressing. We still are on track for a 19th-23rd retrieval date. Hopefully, I will have a definite answer on Saturday. Mark is surprisingly getting really good at giving me the nightly injections. Lol. I am scheduled to have my port put in next Tuesday, Jan. 20th. Im feeling mixed emotions. I am partly ready to get this show on the road, while the other part of me was saddened at the realization of actually needing a port. I suppose scheduling the surgery somehow validated the disease in my mind. It was a tough moment. The first batch of Team Shannon bracelets have gone out. It makes me smile seeing these bracelets being sent out to all corners and stages of my life. Thank you Mom and Amber for making this possible!
