HobbyPlex Omaha, NE winter 1/8 Series The series went great overall lots of good road trip adventures and fun times. Finished up 3rd overall in Nitro Truggy class and ended the series in the top 15 in Nitro Buggy. Here is round by round recap and some photos. Round 1 11/3/13 Open Truggy A main 2nd place Open Buggy C main 7th place Round 2 12/1/14 Open Truggy A main 3rd place Open Buggy C main 4th place Round 3 1/12/14 Open Truggy A main 7th place Open Buggy B main 8th place Open E Buggy C main 6th place Round 4 2/2/14 Open Truggy A main 3rd place Open Buggy B main 5th place Open E Buggy B main 8th place Round 5 3/30/14 Open Truggy A main 2nd place Open Buggy B main 10th place Open E Buggy C main 8th place FRC January Jam Flowood, MS 1/19/14 Traveled a long ways in a short time to a great facility and had almost 200 entries for some stiff competition all weekend. Raced Expert class for the first time in Nitro Truggy and left with a podium in 5th place. And my son Joe set fast lap of the weekend in E Buggy class and got 2nd overall in Intermediate Class. Expert Truggy A main 5th place Open Buggy B main 5th place Open E Buggy B main 4th place The Barn 1/8 Spring Shootout Jefferson City, MO 4/5/14 Small track but the best racers from the KC area and the St Louis area showed up for a stacked field of nitro racers. Considering the competition in the pro class on a 1/10 scale size track had a great weekend against some of the best competition in our area. Pro Truggy A main 3rd place Pro Buggy B main 5th place Pro E Buggy B main 6th place CRI Raceway Summer Series Fairbury, NE Round 1 of 4 Got a great start to the series in all three classes...should be able to finish on the podium in all three classes for this series!! Pro Truggy 3rd place Pro Buggy 5th place Pro E Buggy 4th place Summer points Series Fastlane Raceway Blue Springs, MO 4/25/14 Being our home tracks opening outdoor race night it brought out the best drivers in the area from Team Associateds Chad Parks, Nick Gibson, Jeremy Cathlina and also Kyoshos Mitchell Gardner and Brandon Hisel and A Main Hobbies Joe Walters. I had a great night, my nitro buggy set up is just about perfect and I am really getting faster each week out with it. I qualified 5th overall only a few seconds separated TQ Nick Gibson and the rest of the top 5. The main went great I finished right where I qualified in 5th place and was just about 6 seconds back from 3rd and 4th and was gaining.
