Holden woke up at Midnight in a crying jag/tantrum for no discernible reason. I tried feeding him first off- no, try rocking him back to sleep- no, Neil comes in to take a try because Ive been having trouble getting him to settle down at night- no. Dirty diaper? Hot? Teething pain? Scared of dark? No, no, no, nope! At this point hes stripped down to his diaper and crying in bursts, I grab him, go to sit on the floor with him because maybe reading a book or playing with a toy will settle him. I sit him down and he immediately grabs for me to pick him back up. I take him back to the nursing chair and he nurses happily back to sleep. WTF kid, thats what I offered you FIRST thing! Why?!?!??! Noni and Pop Pop are you ready for your turn tonight?
