Holography is a technique which enables three-dimensional images - TopicsExpress

Holography is a technique which enables three-dimensional images (holograms) to be made. It involves the use of a laser, interference, diffraction, light intensity recording and suitable illumination of the recording. The image changes as the position and orientation of the viewing system changes in exactly the same way as if the object were still present, thus making the image appear three-dimensional. The holographic recording itself is not an image; it consists of an apparently random structure of either varying intensity, density or profile. Its Nothing new whats happening now. Tom Cruises hand gestures are only different to Shakespearean actors in that a hologram is superimposed into the movie afterwards, whereas the audience to a Shakespear play see wooden and paper props the actor performs in front of. And some actors are their own special effects as this street artist proves levitating himself by light techniques invisible to most of us but which are (mathematically) possible as shown in the flow chart of what it is actually possible to make us THINK we see. Clever, innit? Part One of the statement Some people change when they see the light, others when they feel the heat. Because some people may not like what the light can change them into!!!? How much of what we see is real? As Tom Cruise demonstrates to perfection, when it comes to Hollywood, very little. The Power of Light, MD/DM!
