Holy Bible (NKJV) Ruth 1:3 Then Elimelech, Naomis husband, died . . . . We each have our dark days. These dark days could be when you lose your job, when you suffer a personal tragedy, when you have tried and never got pregnant. For Naomi it was the loss of her husband. To put things in perspective, she lost the one who took care of her. Her whole life had come crumbling down. Life lost its meaning for her. A promised life of prosperity and laughter turned to a reality of misery. Did GOD care? Yes, he did. The tragedy that fell Naomi was the platform GOD needed to make manifest His plan for the world. Indeed, while the world wailed and commiserated with Naomi over her loss, ALL THINGS WORKED together for good. Maybe your Elimelech just died. Maybe the pillar of support has collapsed. You had a wonderful dream. A dream of becoming an intellectually astute person just went up in smoke. That wonderful man or woman you dreamt of marrying just turned their back on you. That desire to live a sin-free Christian life keeps becoming an uphill task for you. Dont you give up! God is working something for your own good. You may not understand it now. Things may look hopeless. There might be chaos. Yes. That is the more reason why you dont have to give up. The GOD of order will restore all things. The conclusion of your can only be laughter!!
