Holy Crap! This is unbelievable. Ok, so you may not think voter suppression is un-american, (it is, and it always should be. That’s why the Voting Rights act made it more difficult for states with a history of creating voter restriction laws to ram them through their legislatures, and subjected any ruling re: voters to be pre-vetted by the Federal Government, which appears to want everyone to vote,) and you may also think that gerrymandering a states’ election map to rig it so that one party wins all the time, is also OK. You may think that cutting education funding for public schools, and diverting that money to private schools via vouchers is another good idea (it’s not, and all it does is attempt to re-divide our country, by allowing public funds to go to pay for private schools, without oversight, without inclusion of all our students, as public education does,) but this is incredible. The education department in this report appears to have doctored the scores of a premier charter school, run by a Republican donor, to keep that schools’ ‘reputation’ intact. Wouldn’t want them to lose their (our) funding, just because they had low scores.
