Holy Spirit mourns the death of Josephine Katherine Divincenzo age 100 of Bowling Green, KY entered into rest Saturday, July 13, 2013. A native of Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Giaimo Sortino. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Joseph Divincenzo; daughter, Lorayne Marie Sarno; 4 brothers, Franco, Thomas, Frank and Mario Sortino. Josephine is survived by her 2 daughters, Arlene Roberts and Donna Moore (James) both of Bowling Green, KY; 4 grandchildren, Laura Ruell (Fred) of Merced, CA, Gina Moore of Bowling Green, KY, Michelle Salcido (Anthony) of Huntington Beach, CA and Joseph Moore (Melinda) of Nixa, MO; 4 great grandchildren, Kenneth Ruell, Lauren Moosbauer, Alyssa and Alexander Moore; 1 great great-grandchild, Kyland Moosbauer; 1 niece and 4 nephews. Josephine was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Noon at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Angels at P.O. Box 710 Belmont, NC 28012 or to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
