Holy cow its a weekend of Cora! Here are FIVE great ways to spend time with us: 1) Early birds: shake it up with Pilar Salinass Zumba class at 930am. Just drop in. Its PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN. 2) Not quite so early birds: Get your swag on (or find some in class if you are swag-deficient) in Karen V. Ross and Kandice Rosss Reggae Dancehall class at 11am. Again...Just drop in. Its PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN. 3) In Manhattan today? Keep your eyes peeled for Cora dancers Nadia Tykulsker, Katie Dean and Solomon Goodwin performing excerpts of COMMON DANCES in Madison Square Park. Theyre being filmed by Kamau Ware for a new location based app but you can see them live and in person! FREE! 4) If you missed Pete Ascoleses show For Petes Sake last night be sad, it was hilarious. Good thing you can still catch it tonight at 8pm and be happy again! (Suggested admission $20 or PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN. Cupcakes and drinks start at 730!) 5) Sunday at 2pm at the Park Slope Barnes & Noble see some of Coras ballet students in Courtney Cookes Ballet I and III classes perform during a FREE reading by Marilyn Singer from her book Tallulahs Nutcracker. Then buy that book at our November 23 Court Street B&N event and part of the proceeds support Coras students! Need more info, visit coradance.org for full details. Yay!
