Holy freaking stroke of karma. At just the right moment, as Im up too late, I go to glance once more at the nocturnal wildlife through window before turning out the yard spotlights. The 3 raccoons scatter quickly only to reveal not their fear of the human 10 feet away inside the dark house, but the curious wild dog sniffing out their feeding area. Though suburban coyotes are known to be around, its been about 2 years since we spotted them in our area! And it was an up close, well-lit view!
