Home from Hickory. The Tilt Table Test was weird. I did not pass out. I was hoping I would cause then we would know what was going on. BUT - after I didnt pass out I learned that it was probably a good thing because depending on certain criteria, it *could* have meant having my license taken away. Possibly temporarily until being tested again in 6 months, or possibly for good. Honeys. Dont you know I would have been one mad witchy woman if that had happened. This is why they were so insistent on making sure I had a driver with me, I guess. They had to actually see Donald before giving me the test. Sneaky sneaky sneaky - No mention of this possibility until after the test was over. Ill wait to hear the doctors thoughts, of course, but I didnt notice any ill effects until about 40 minutes into the 45 minute test, and that was a little bit of light-headedness and my legs felt weak for a minute or two, and then it passed. There were (I think) two blood pressure dips - both towards the end of the test. So, for now I will continue wearing thr heart monitor and wait to see whats next on the list of tests. For someone who is normally at her doctors office only once a year for an annual physical, this is getting very old, very fast.
