Home from the hospital and a little nervous about leaving him with Comfort Keepers. He has fought all day with the mittens on his hands and will not quiet down. They gave him a sedative before I left and hopefully that will quiet him for tonight, if not that poor girl is in a run for her money. :) He had a tube inserted into his stomach today to pump out yuck and the surgeon came in tonight and he may be facing surgery if this pump does not get the blockage. His kidney function is not good either and they have to hold off on doing a CT scan. He will have his port removed tomorrow to see if that is the source of the infection, ecoli in blood not a good thing. Will put in a pic line. Blood count was 90,000 today and when he went into the hospital it was 33,000 so it has almost tripled and they have been giving him a boat load of antibiotics. He is still fighting but the war is not over by a long shot. I am not impressed with the 5th floor of MWH. Praying for comfort and peace and his mind to stop racing. Blessings!!!
