Home in Perspectives Marriage is a means to establishing home, it is not an end itself. Your Home is an institution designed by God to be built by divine principles. As an institution, it is a constituted body that is established by God. As an established body, it is certificated. Your home is licenced to carry out unique assignments and enjoy legitimate pleasures in God- given ways with divine means. It has structure that must be nurtured to suit her divine purpose and to eventually actualize it .Your home is a dedicated body- It is sacredly set apart for a divine purpose. As a divine Institution, it has an enabling environment specifically created by God and made Condusive for: Giving and receiving Instructions that must free every member from rebellion, arogance and pomposity with any of such that can be detrimental to her healthy growth. As a divine institution it is designed for Learning, Relearning and Unlearning to experiencing dynamism necessary for healthy growth. Your home is wired for Giving and taking Corrections: It is an institution where members can correct each other and be corrected by one another without any iota of ill feeling. Your home is meant for Improvement and growth: The ultimate expectaion from every Institution is to bring improvement and growth. So God instituted your home in order to work out needed improvement that will ultimately be culminated into growth suitable for divine plan. Unlike other institutions in which you can learn and or teach for a number of years and retire or graduate, learning is a life long one in home building. You should not feel so certificated to the extent that you turn down learning and receiving pieces of advice from other members. You and your partner( the husband and wife) majorly constitute the teachers as well as the students under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Your children are the attache students. It means that learning is reversionary. Characteristics of an Ideal Home: 1. Membership: Your home can only be regarded as a home indeed If you are legitimately married as husband and wife where Godly children are raised up as members who are potential home builders too. 2. Byelaw or guiding rule or better still guiding principles: Your home, as an institution constituted by God has a constitution that is meant to guide and guard everyone as Members. Your home is not meant to be a free for all where anything goes. Everything must pass through the screening of the guiding rules. This byelaw, or constitution or guiding principles are not man made. It is very divine. This constitution or bylaws that guide the operations of your home spell out the duties and responsibilities of each of you. Aims and Objectives Your home has its aims and Objectives that form the nucleous of your operation, the purpose of that is to ensure healthy growth of the home. The aims and objectives are also divine. The Aims to God are: 1. To raise Godly Children for Himself. Mal. 2:15, 2. He Wants to raise a Posterity. Ps. 22:30-31 Gods Aims of Instituting Home for you are: 1. To partner with God as Couple in order for Him to realize His aims. 2. To create an avenue for intimacy and pleasure for you and your partner. In another word, to ensure your Companionship. 3. To raise for you arrows of warfare Your home has structure: Constitution of the Home also has to do with her Organisation. The father is the head, the mother is deputy and the children are the Subjects each of them having unique responsibility . The extent of the functionality of Your home depends on its organisation. To be organized means that individual recognises his or her position and effectively plays his/ her own roles. There is no any room given for oversight, neglect, negligence nor indulgence. Everyone is obligated to be up and doing. Have a reflection on this perspective and begin to mend where necessary.
