Homebuyers Education Class April 23-24 in Butte Prospective homeowners -- and those just interesting in learning more about the process -- are invited to join a Homebuyers Education Class Wednesday April 23 and Thursday April 24 in Butte.. Budgeting and credit, the mortgage process, down payment and closing cost assistance, homeowners and title insurance and other topics related to home ownership will be topics covered in the two-day session. The classes are sponsored by Headwaters RC&D Area Inc., and are held at their offices on the second floor of the Thornton Building, 65 E. Broadway, Butte. Class times are 5 to 9 p.m. both days. A light meal will be served and, sorry, child care is not available. The cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple. Registration is required by Tuesday, April 22 and may be arranged by calling 533-6781 or 533-6778. The classes are funded in part by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Montana Board of Housing, the Montana Department of Commerce and Neighborworks of Montana.
