Homemade Laundry Detergent INGREDIENTS 1/2 Bar of Fels-Naptha Soap* 1/2 Cup Arm & Hammer Washing Soda* 1/2 Cup 20 Mule Team Borax* 1) Grate soap bar with cheese grater 2) Heat 6 cups of water with soap until soaps melts 3) Add remaining ingredients and stir until everything is dissolved 4) In a 5 gallon bucket add mixture to 4 cups hot water, stir well, while stirring add 1gallon + 6 cups water and mix well 5) Let stand overnight to congeal Stir before each use 1/2 cup per load Makes about 2 gallons for less than $4.00 * All ingredients are available at any Walmart or Amazon
