Homeopathy is considered to be a system of natural medicine that was introduced and developed at the end of 18th century. It is a branch of medical science that is used for treating the individual as a whole recognizing that the body, mind and spirit of the person is affected. It not only focuses on the disease but on the totality of the individual. Homeopathic medicines or remedies stimulate the self regulating mechanism of the body for initiating the healing process. As per homeopathy, not only the body but the mind and spirit also become sick when an individual falls sick. The symptoms of illness are known by the body; however, it is not believed to be the origin of the illness. The physical body remains after death but of no use as it is no longer curable. Homeopathy, especially in India is quite popular with several students pursuing medical are opting for homeopathic courses in the country. Today, several colleges offer many courses in homeopathy and many students enroll themselves here as they find this branch quite interesting. Homeopathy completely differs from its contemporaries such as allopath as it doesn’t umake use of injections, saline is not at all invasive.
