Homeschooling Day 2: Yesterday went great. I only posted about the morning classes, but she did just fine with art history (we did two virtual tours of cavepaintings in Europe, an article on caveman era paint supplies, and an hour-long movie, so she went over time). She was okay with her math, but started to get hyper halfway through. Math is the worst for her. Today shes already almost done. She did an hour of reading, during which she was looking for words she didnt know and writing them down for her vocabulary list, then we did some yoga and tai chi for an hour (I had to wing it because I cant find the tai chi video and the yoga one is all scratched up and no longer works). Lunch just ended at 12 and now shes working on math. Again, going okay but not spectacularly. I am considering breaking up her math pages so she only has to do a few minutes at a time instead of doing one hour all at once. Maybe that would help? I dont know. Next up is 30 minutes of grammar, handwriting, and defining the words she pulled from her book.
