Hon. Inusah Fuseini reaches out to victims of Aboabo fire outbreak........ The Minister of Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Inusah Fuseini visited traders of Aboabo market, one of the largest markets in the region following the fire outbreak that guttered about four stalls a few days ago. The visit was to empathise, sympathise and sloidarise with victims of that unfortunate incident. The leaders of the traders union in the market took him to the the scene of the incident for him to have a fair view of the tragedy. The minister, in his address advised the victims to take solace in the Quranic verse that admonishes that, our maker makes light out of darkness and the vise versa. As part of his support as member of Parliament of the Tamale Central Constituency in which the market is located, he donated a sum of Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis ( Two hundred million old cedis) to the victims to manage with, while their stalls are being attended to. The leadership on their part expressed sincere gratitude to the Member of Parliament and his team for the timely support. They further tabled in for consideration, the value of the goods that was lost during the outbreak. According to the traders, goods worth about Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis was lost during the incident. They then requested of the Hon. Member of Parliament to re-echo their plight into the listening ear of the President of Ghana, His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama. Hon. Inusah Fuseini in his response assured the traders that, President John Mahamas government has always been a listening one and will certainly compensate them for their losses. He further stated that H.E JM is on Christmas break and he would try all within his reach to bring the president to see things for himself. The leadership of the traders took the opportunity to introduce themselves to the Hon. Minister and Member of Parliament. The donation was presented to the leadership by the chairman of Tamale Central Constituency, Alhaji Yahaya Suhuyini Zaapayim. Source : Tamale Central Diaries.
