Honest opinion, fact and un-politically correct statement: If you are a wedding photographer and dont have Asian clients in your portfolio, that is a huge mistake. Asians are enamored with quality and value and generally will spend A LOT for it. Also, Asians have cash (in general), if they dont have it, they will ask their parents who have worked 10 minimum wage jobs at once on their way to owning 7 fast food Chinese restaurants and 4 liquor stores and 6 apartment buildings and have a wad of cash under their mattress when they need it! They also like luxury items so they can show off their BMW, Mercedes, LV handbag, etc. proving that they have paid $500k on their education and that they have a nice career (As you know we are only allowed four occupations: Doctor, Lawyer, IT or CPA). We are very subtle but proud people and love to brag that they found the best this or that- so if you do a good job for an Asian, they will tell their million and one relatives and IVY league friends about you and you will have more weddings that you could possibly imagine. You will be so good, you will start teaching wedding photography and for some odd reason people will think you are one of the best and will fly all over the world to hear you teach in exotic places like Paris, London, Italy, Bahamas and of course Lansing, Michigan. You will then leverage your Asian contacts and manufacture and design lighting equipment that will also sell around the world. Soon after you will have a large Facebook following and people will love to read your nonsensical comments about life and success and start following where you go on family vacations and enjoy watching you catch fish in the Eastern Sierras.
