Honestly, Ive always said Who cares when celebrities die, important people die all the time who have done such good in the world and they dont get half the attention. but this is way different. He happened to be both. He bent social boundaries and said things no one else would, he was open with his afflictions and was empathetic showed people they werent alone. First and foremost, the greatest thing hes done is make people laugh, it is the greatest medicine and I know he was doing it because he didnt want people to feel so bad (I cant say I know that for a fact but, we all know it) and honestly I feel like he kind of raised me growing up. In the movie Jack he taught me its ok to be different, in Jumanji he taught me loyalty, in Patch Adams he taught me to embrace who I was, in Aladdin he told me to beeeeeeeeeeeeeee myself... and thats just from my childhood. Then he had movies like 1 Hour Photo which reminded me that behind every smile is something we may never know. He taught me a lot, and it was all because he showed me it was ok to laugh at myself, but the sad thing is that I cant get that Watchmen quote out of my head from the Comedian, and now I dont think I could ever hear it again without shedding a tear for Robin Williams. shit...... Ill never stop missing him, even though he never met me, i feel like I knew him my whole life.
