Honestly how can anyone that is involved with SFNC not be proud of our great Club. Another Ball come and gone and organised with precision and perfection. Our footballers scrubbed up to be on par to any male model Ive seen, a couple even left David Beckham to eat their dust. The eye candy frazzled my retinas. The girls, as per usual were nothing short of stunning in the many arrays of dresses. If only my 8 man tent hadnt been at the Dry Cleaners I probably would have been there and seen so much more. Sitting in the car park, procrastinating, waiting for my own adorable little piece of eye candy, (Peter) I realised that so many of these people, coming and going were an integral part of our club, the backbone, the ones driving it to the top of various ladders both netball and football, not to forget the all important community. My friends. The ones that are making other Clubs look up and take an interest in us, showing them we are becoming a force to be reckoned with. But we are not just any other ordinary club, we are a family. A family that is inpenetratable, tight knit and never hesitant to step up to the plate when required. I have witnessed this club coming from a near down and out club, to a club that can rub shoulders with the best of any, in any league. Our integrity, passion, professionalism, honesty and pride are things we are becoming well known for. Within the next few months we will all be striving for that recognition we all deserve, We have all walked the fire for this, so if we all strive together, for the same thing, we shouldnt have too much to worry about. Please, lets stay focused on what we have worked so very hard for. Now for all you people reading this, scratching your head saying, why is she writing this? I say, Because I can!
