Honourable Supreme Court has directed the CBI to investigate in to the multi-crore Chit Funds mega scam in Odisha. The allegation was that these Chit Funds were operating under direct protection of the CM and his protege collecting hard won savings of the poor and the middle class people. The collected money was used for luxuries of the MLAs, the Ministers and the Directors in the Board of Directors. The Artha Tatwa Group of Companies was headed by one Pradip Sethy who happened to be the finance in charge of the CM in Ganjam district that included Gopalpur and Hinjilikatu. In Ganjam district all Assembly and Lok Sabha seats are won by the ruling BJD in Odisha. CBI is a professional team of investigators, who never conduct raid with out sufficient prima facie evidence to incriminate the individuals raided. So far the CBI has raided more than 90 places that included one elected BJD MP and Chief Whip of the BJD in the Assembly Sri Pravat Tripathy. Pradip Sethy, the Chief of Artha Tatwa group is already in jail for last more than six months. It is to be seen as how soon the CM Naveen Patnaik is having the noose closer to his neck, unless some thing providential happens due to perhaps some good works he has done in his previous life. Because totally an unknown man not knowing the local language getting elected and directly starting his political career as a Cabinet Minister and then continuing as Chief Minister of the state consecutively for four terms can not be explained expect in terms of rewards due to prarbdhadh , or the achievements during the previous birth that is carried over to this birth as reserves and surplus.
