Hon’ble President of India, Sri Pranab Mukherjee on his visit to Odisha during 29.11.2014 and 30.11.2014 has lauded the efforts of BMC on keeping the city of Bhubaneswar neat and clean and during his speech at Golden Jubilee Celebration of Ramadevi Women’s College praised the city of Bhubaneswar as the cleanest city in India. Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation believes that such a recognition from the first citizen of India would not have been made possible, but for the contribution and spirit of citizens of Bhubaneswar who have proactively participated in cleanliness drives of BMC and have responsibility shouldered the catch phrase of BMC “Progress through Partnership”. I, on behalf of the BMC team, congratulate the residents of Bhubaneswar for have brought glory to the city by their sanitation consciousness, and participation in making our city the cleanest city in the World also.
