Honey waterfalls is a unique group of mountain waterfalls in the valley of a small mountain rivers Alikonovka, Ekchi Bash on the territory of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia, near Kislovodsk. One legend tells that once, in the rocks, where now the waterfalls lived wild bees, and during the spring flood of honey, which was washed out, the water in the river was sweet. According to another legend, in the summer, at a certain time of day, the sun rotates so that the rays of the water becomes yellow-amber color similar to the color of honey. This also attracted the couple to retire in this beautiful place to spend a Honeymoon. This tradition has survived to this day.
